“Who Killed Santa?” Casting Call
Posted by Calls & Castings in Denver Casting Calls, Theater Auditions on October 22nd, 2009
Dangerous Theatre has been on hiatus for a year due to a death in the family. But I am planning to re-launch “Who Killed Santa?” this year since it was so much darn fun last year. Plus, the playwright has tweeked it a little from last year adding a 4th possible ending and another song or two.
I have a few returning cast members from last year but I still need an actress Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Since it is revealed in the play that Rudolph is pregnant, I would prefer to cast a female – age unimportant. We cast Rudolph as a female last year and it worked really well. CASTING FOR UNDERWATER SHOOT
I am looking for qualified models that are extremely aquatic for an underwater portfolio shoot in Cebu Philippines. We would need models to be extremely comfortable underwater, able to hold their breath underwater for an extended period of time, and willing to put the hard work into training.
We will combine this shoot with a casting for a new underwater action movie called NORTH OF A BILLION, and while I cannot promise anything, I would favourably consider models that have acting skills and are able to pull off the challenges of underwater action scenes.

Keyboard Player Wanted
Posted by Calls & Castings in Denver Casting Calls, Musicians on October 22nd, 2009
I’m looking for someone to play keyboards at an motivational / inspirational musical in Denver in late January 2010.
This could turn into a recurring gig if the musical is a hit. The musical is called “A Call To Greatness: what ancient people knew that we often don’t”.
Please see the website below for more information on the musical script.
We’re doing some non-religious motivational/inspirational covers and your own original music would be open for consideration as well.
Strange as it may sound a background in Indian (Asian) dance-funk or kirtan experience would be helpful but not necessary.
The sound I’m looking for is eclectic, primal, beaty and eastern. Read the rest of this entry »
Cristmas production needs keyboardist, Denver
Posted by Calls & Castings in Denver Casting Calls, Musical Auditions, Musicians on October 21st, 2009
I am looking for a keyboardist to offer musical accompaniment during the run of the holiday play “Who killed Santa?”
In the play the various holiday characters sing parodies of their respective holiday songs to try to determine who offed the jolly old elf. Since the parodies are not exactly to the tune of the songs it has proven impossible to find workable karaoke versions of the tunes.
Pay will not be much (a percentage of the house) but it will be fun. Read the rest of this entry »

Technology and film history collide when a man’s emotions are reflected in the type of image he is living in (black and white film, color film, digital high definition, faster/slower frame rates, so on). Slowly but surely, he finds himself transforming into none other than Charlie Chaplin.

-Dark hair preferred
-Ability to watch a performance and mimic with precision
-Ability to cover a wide range of emotions and switch on a dime
