AUDITIONS BEING HELD FOR 1st Annual MFAC Follies Extravaganza
Large-scale production seeks performers/entertainers
Auditions for the MFAC FOLLIES Extravaganza will be held Monday and Tuesday, December 7 & 8, 2009 in the Gilliam Concert Hall of the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center: 2201 Argonne Drive in Baltimore. Directions can be found at www.murphyfineartscenter.org/pages/about_MFAC/Directions.asp
Auditions will be conducted as follows:
Actor/Singers – 4:00 pm each day (Prepare a Monologue – 1 minute in length / BRING SHEET MUSIC – best 16 bars / accompanist will be supplied)
Dancers – 5:30 pm each day (Dress to dance) Need MEN & WOMEN!!!!!
Michael Jackson Impersonators -Tues., Dec. 8th ONLY!!! 5:00 pm (CD Player will be provided) (1 minute routines only)
The 1st Annual MFAC Follies Extravaganza will be a one-of-a-kind event will be presented in the Gilliam Concert Hall of the Murphy Fine Arts Center on March 13, 2010. The MFAC Follies is an entertainment experience that will showcase a broad range of performance types and performers. The MFAC Follies hearkens back to the Ziegfeld Follies, which was a series of elaborate theatrical productions that played in New York City in the early 1900s.
Casting Call & Auditions
The MFAC Follies calls for a large cast of numerous performers of diverse types. (Please see information above).

Singers
Dancers: Many dancers of different disciplines (e.g. Ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, Harlem Renaissance/Swing, etc.) are needed. Michael Jackson impersonators are also needed.
