Casting for a comedic short film. The storyline is about a young couple in their 20s who meet through an online dating service and go out on a first date. The plot shows how far guys will go to impress girls.
This was written by an award winning writer/director and will be submitted to film festivals. It will be great exposure for your acting career and an amazing piece to add to your reel. Casting for the following roles:
Female Lead: Kate
She is in her early to late twenties. There are many emotions that she expresses throughout the story so you must be able to pull off the changes from being nervous to shocked to naturally inquisitive.
Supporting Male 1: The waiter
Looking for a male model type/struggling actor who plays the role of a waiter in a restaurant. Early to late twenties.
Supporting Male 2: Robert
Friend of the Lead, must be funny and able to pull off some authentic melodrama.
Supporting Female 1: Robert’s girlfriend
Early to late twenties, attractive.
Supporting Male 3:
You will be in a wheelchair, but rise up from the device and begin to walk – we need a convincing scene that a miracle just happened.
Key Extra:
You will be accompanying the man in wheelchair, his friend and witness of the miracle. We need someone expressive to help the viewer believe this really happened.
