Teen auditions – Paramount pictures is holding an open casting call for “True Grit”, a Coen Brothers movie. They are in search of a teen girl to play the part of “Mattie”. The film is set in post civil war times and is a remake of the 1969 version of “True Grit” starring John Wayne and Kim Darby.
Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon have already beed added to the cast - Jeff Bridges has been cast in the new film as U.S. Marshal “Rooster” Cogburn. Matt Damon and Josh Brolin also have been cast.
Paramount Pictures is holding an open casting call for Joel and Ethan Coen’s next film, “True Grit”. The casting call is for a 12- to 17-year-old caucasian girl to play the lead role of “Mattie”. The character “Mattie” is described as a “simple, tough as nails young woman in post-Civil War Arkansas”.
The filmmakers also are accepting taped auditions in lieu of attending the casting call. Instructions for taping and sending auditions can be found at truegritcasting.com.
