Open casting call for short film!

Story-

The story centers on a few individuals and their final moments before the end of the world. We examine it from different perspectives and each character represents something different. We have two lovers- man and women who represent light in a time of great darkness and despair, a politician, desperately hanging on to whatever he can before the end and a mother, watching her children innocently play, the children oblivious to the fact the world is about to end.

Short film, with limited dialogue. Focus is not on the words so much as what is being conveyed visually and actors must be comfortable with this.

Need: Male and female actors! Male- mid 20’s on up. Female: early 20’s on up.

Open auditions will be held on May 27th from 12-6pm and May 28th from 12-3pm.

It will be held at Towson University, University Union room 307.

Excellent Productions needs Male and Female actors who can sing for their upcoming new stage play “In His Name”. Participant will be asked to join our new assemble acting group that will tour with this production throughout this year. Please call 443-621-1668. YOOT MUSIC & FILMS’ AUDITION (Male /African-American/Comedic Role)
Yoot Music & Films is producing a short, HIV Prevention Film with the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. The actor should be: 1) Able to play, at least, a 30 year old professor; 2) An African-American male and; 3) Able to perform physical comedy. This particular scene will be shot on location at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and will take one day (a Saturday in February 2010). The role is not a paying position, but is for charity. a LOW BUDGET student film – a short film, about 8 minutes – two locations; Silver Spring, MD & Washington, DC
There is a very small amount of pay involved as well as the DVD and food/drinks. ONLY THE MAIN ROLES WILL RECEIVE PAY, but it is not a lot.

Meeko – Black African male. This character must have an accent and be able to sing mediocre. Age = 25 – 35
Tory – Black female. This character must also be able to sing mediocre. Age = 25 – 30
Vicki – Caucasian or white skin. Age = 20 – 30

This film is about a girl, Tory who denies her culture and breaks the heart of Meeko. Vicki is one of Tory’s friends. There will be auditions held, email me for dates and times. Please do not respond if you do not meet all the qualifications and do not live in the Washington Metropolitan area. I will start shooting this film on Jan 2, 2010. You must be available on weekends.
