Log Line:
For the last two years the same school has won Blowout – the national Bhangra
competition. But this year, one man must lead a rag tag group of underdogs to dance
their way to the top!

Roles:

RAHUL, Male, young 20s, Indian, college student, innocent looking, boyish but comes of age as a strong leader. Good dancer.

DOMINIC, Male, young 20s, American, college student, athletic & boyish, charming best friend type.

VIC, Male, young 20s, Punjabi Sikh ghetto thug type, college student, thinks he knows everything.

KETAN, Male, 20s, Indian, college student strong & brooding, intimidating look.

DAD , Male, 50s, Indian, polished business man type, assimilated to American culture.

MOM, Female, 50s, Indian, loveable, boisterous & overbearing at times, very spirited.

ALL-MALE BHANGRA DANCE TEAM – 2 to 3 teams needed. Please come prepared with a one-two minute choreographed piece.

CO-ED BHANGRA & BOLLYWOOD DANCE TEAM – 2 to 3 teams needed. Please come prepared with a one-two minute choreographed piece.

EXTRAS – Indian men, women, children, college students – attendees at the show.
