Casting Short Film – Open Call

Open casting call for short film!
Story-
The story centers on a few individuals and their final moments before the end of the world. We examine it from different perspectives and each character represents something different. We have two lovers- man and women who represent light in a time of great darkness and despair, a politician, desperately hanging on to whatever he can before the end and a mother, watching her children innocently play, the children oblivious to the fact the world is about to end.
Short film, with limited dialogue. Focus is not on the words so much as what is being conveyed visually and actors must be comfortable with this.
Need: Male and female actors! Male- mid 20’s on up. Female: early 20’s on up.
Open auditions will be held on May 27th from 12-6pm and May 28th from 12-3pm.
It will be held at Towson University, University Union room 307.

Open Auditions are set to take place this Tuesday [March 23, 2010] at the Catholic University of America for a Student Film Project. This project is UNPAID. Listed below are the character descriptions. Auditions will run from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on campus at O’Boyle Hall, Rm G-1; first come, first serve. TAKE NOTE: Actors need to be available for the following dates for filming / April 4, 11, 17, 18. Please let us know if you have any conflicts, otherwise we will see you at auditions! 
*List of Characters and Descriptions:
Group 1: Come to auditions with a prepared 1 minute monologue.
Randolph / Protagonist: Male; in their 20s; no specific look or style
Pirate: Male; any age over 17; small build; bring costume if possible
Ninja: Male; any age over 17; large build; bring costume if possible
Boss: Male; 30s-40s; businessman type/clean cut; come dressed in a suit
Guitarist: Male; 50s-60s; any playing experience with a guitar is preferred
Group 2: Come prepared to sing any song of choice- a capella- for auditions.
Mystery Girl: Female; in their 20s; no specific look or style; MUST be able to sing

Casting Film “Not Waving But Drowning”

Not Waving But Drowning – Casting Call in Montgomery County Maryland Feb 20 or 21 – official time and location TBC.
Not Waving But Drowning is a micro budget independent film being produced by FSU Film School alumni. The film will be shot on Location in Florida and New York City Summer 2010. The pay is low/no. We are SAG Ultra low Budget, so union and non union welcome to submit.

We are casting for the following roles:
Adele (22) (lead) Adele is tall and beautiful with strong features and a long untamed mane. A wild spirit and always sort of a mess. Slightly manic and excitable, she is selfish and she is searching.
Sara (22) (lead) Sara is small with neat, petite features. A porcelain face with short dark hair in a well kept bob. She is sweet, responsible and loyal to a fault.
Damon (51) Damon exudes easy confidence, a friendly family man. He is a decorated police officer with a strong comforting presence. An accident turns him distant and aloof.
Sylvia (79) Sylvia is eccentric, lovable, exciting! She is still elegant with long white hair and feline features. She has lived a big life, is wise, and will tell you as much.
Amy (15) Amy is the girl next door. Pretty but not overly so. Quiet but not shy. An introverted late bloomer who is very perceptive and intelligent.
Big Guy (16) Big Guy seems to have avoided the awkward early teens. He is tall and handsome with a big smile and messy brown hair. Outgoing and playful, immediately charming.

Driving Training Video series, is currently seeking male or female spokes talent, age 30yrs+, who are strong on camera, have teleprompter experience and are fluent in their language. Talent will be hired for a full day shoot, taking place in Philadelphia area, so must have their own transportation. Great pay, plus travel. Shoot takes place second or third week of February.

Fahd Habeeb Productions and Director Jimmy Traynor have teamed up to create a new film entitled “The Will”. It is the story of a dying mother’s last wishes for her two sons which takes a turn to where one son never expected and another completely distraught. A drama with a hint of comedy.
