NBC’S NEW SERIES ‘LOSING IT WITH JILLIAN’ KICKS OFF AUDITIONS IN LOS ANGELES SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8

UNIVERSAL CITY, California – November 6, 2009 – NBC’s riveting new life-changing alternative series “Losing It With Jillian,” starring Jillian Michaels (”The Biggest Loser”), will begin a nationwide search for families starting Sunday, November 8 in Los Angeles. The November 8 open call marks the first of many upcoming open calls in cities including Dallas, Nashville, Detroit, Chicago, Boston and Washington D.C.

The show is looking for families who want to get off the couch, step up and take their lives back. In the series, “Losing It With Jillian,” Michaels will invade a different family every week and give them her own characteristic brand of tough love. She will get to the bottom of the issues each family member faces — ones that affect their health and happiness — and will arm them with the tools necessary to make life-altering changes.

The series will also feature celebrity chef Curtis Stone who will enhance Michaels’ efforts by ridding the family’s kitchen of all unhealthy foods and educating them on proper nutrition, healthy ingredients, cooking tips and recipes.
