We are seeking an actor to lead in our web series!
Posted by Calls & Castings in Webisodes and Shorts on May 9th, 2011
We are seeking an actor to lead in our web series!
Breakdown:
Andrew / Caucasian / 30-35 – An ex band member. He is getting older but he can’t give up his dream of once again being a rock star. He is handsome and outspoken.
Please be taller than 5′9. Tattoos and piercings are okay, minimal guitar skills are required, and a comedic background is important.
This will be unpaid, and will be filmed at a private house in Burbank. Not only will this be FUN, but it will also be a great opportunity for aspiring actors to get more material for their reel. This is a new webseries, and will be an on going gig. Therefore, we are seeking someone commited, talented and reliable. We hope to shoot 10 episodes.
Because this is unpaid, we’re looking for actors with flexible schedules. We will mostly be shooting on the weekends in the mornings most likely, and during the week for evening scenes.
We have already cast the other roles, and we would like to begin blocking and rehearsing this weekend. We would like to cast this role today or tomorrow. PLEASE BE AVAILABLE to come in and read this evening between 6:30 and 7:30pm, in Burbank.

Casting Short Film – Open Call
Posted by Calls & Castings in Baltimore Casting Calls, DC Casting Calls, Open Calls, Webisodes and Shorts on May 17th, 2010
Open casting call for short film!
Story-
The story centers on a few individuals and their final moments before the end of the world. We examine it from different perspectives and each character represents something different. We have two lovers- man and women who represent light in a time of great darkness and despair, a politician, desperately hanging on to whatever he can before the end and a mother, watching her children innocently play, the children oblivious to the fact the world is about to end.
Short film, with limited dialogue. Focus is not on the words so much as what is being conveyed visually and actors must be comfortable with this.
Need: Male and female actors! Male- mid 20’s on up. Female: early 20’s on up.
Open auditions will be held on May 27th from 12-6pm and May 28th from 12-3pm.
It will be held at Towson University, University Union room 307.
Funding is limited, so payment will be small, however there will be compensation for your hard work! Film is set to hit the festival circuit! Build your portfolio and get exposed! E-mail Jon Firman at jfirma1@students.towson.edu for more info
