The year is 2002, long before the shameful cover up and discoveries of the Catholic Churches recent acknowledgment of the insidious attack on the children of this planet. A time that the Vatican announced this was purely an American phenomenon. Miguel, a 44 year old Cuban/American, has spent years struggling to come to terms with his own abuse by Father Caruso, a young handsome priest Miguel’s family supported and befriended upon their arrival in America, shortly after the mass exodus that Castro’s dictatorship created when he rose to power. “Who Killed Santa?” Casting Call

Dangerous Theatre has been on hiatus for a year due to a death in the family. But I am planning to re-launch “Who Killed Santa?” this year since it was so much darn fun last year. Plus, the playwright has tweeked it a little from last year adding a 4th possible ending and another song or two.

I have a few returning cast members from last year but I still need an actress Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Since it is revealed in the play that Rudolph is pregnant, I would prefer to cast a female – age unimportant. We cast Rudolph as a female last year and it worked really well. -Comfortable and natural with physical comedy
-Dark hair preferred
-Ability to watch a performance and mimic with precision
-Ability to cover a wide range of emotions and switch on a dime
-Appreciation for Chaplin a plus
-Physical similarity to Chaplin a BIG plus Read the rest of this entry »
